Bobby Pins

I intended to make my hair look like the ones of the girls below. Its just a little lop-sided and weird because I was out in the rain (Yes! I get to blame the rain for things now!). But hey, not bad for my first try. Right? I'll keep going at it- showing you how the results are with my advantage of Photobooth on this computer, ha ha. Get used to the cheap pictures with my living space in the background.

Work That Up-Do!

I've been browsing around about new interesting hairdos. I'm beginning to want to try making my hair an included part of my wardrobe. I usually simply part it in the middle and give it a little iron treatment and head out the door. But I'm barely realizing what embarrassing image I have set for my self leaving my nest with my hair looking like one. I do find the "messy hair" pretty lovely, but my hair is just a gathering of thin Asian threads. I've been wanting to dye my hair sort of dirty blonde or golden brown. Theres a pic of Gisele to give you an example. It looks so angelic to me. Although born as a brunette, I do have a golden appearance at the tips of my locks. I think its the Swedish in me (hehe!). I heard that your best color is the one you had as a child. BLONDE it is (:

Bring Me Flowers

I believe when people say I'm tone deaf. Haha! It was my first time! Give me a break!

Eyecatchers for the day:

Literature and Fashion Magazines were calling my name today. I headed over to the nearest Borders bookstore I could find. Despite the the slippery roads and cold weather, I stayed nearly 4 hours inside the  store reading about holiday fashion and Lady Gaga's unstoppable sky rocketing fame. Then enjoyed, what seemed to be, a half-fillled mocha with an overwhelming amount to whipped cream and white chocolate shavings. Ahh, Fashion & Coffee, what more could I ask for.

The Scientist

The one invention of man I could never live without is MUSIC. I never thought I could make music. It wasn't until boring weekends when I reunited my friendship with my George Steck 1800's wooden piano I was given. I can finally say I have learned how to play a whole real song. Its indescribable, the feeling, to see myself make music. I guess people always have to try new things, you never know what you can accomplish.
What would fashion be without music? Music is the root of all individuality, it moves fashion forward, and always will. It is noticed that people dress themselves according to their music taste, be it Indie, Punk Rock, or R&B. Fashion is an Art Form, as Music is as well. Musicians are trendsetters of the world. Ironically, we are influenced by musicians who are styled by professionals who are influenced by other musicians or celebrities who are styled by professionals. Fashion and music go together like peanut butter & jelly.
